Advice needed. I am going to a builder today for 1st time. USDA loan and I will go with new construction.?

I am going to meet with the construction company this afternoon. I went with this company because they have more than 30 years in construction and work with the USDA. I want to make sure that there are no snags that I will run into by going with someone who has rarely dealt with USDA. I need to find a lot out in the country. I was thinking 1/2 an acre would be good. I want trees and a good drainage line, preferably out to the road. What else do I ask and also does this sound like a good plan going with an experienced builder?
