I really need some help here .?

Well I have been living with my boyfriend for the past six months, in a city about 20 miles away from my parents house. And with me being so far away they bought me a phone. My boyfriend didnt like it, so he took it from me put it in a box and duct taped the box shut. And hid it in his basement, for the past month I have been trying to locate the box with my phone in it, and I have failed. I want to call my parents but dont know what they coud do about it. Any advice?
